Job summary

Join is building Lonio, an AI-native backoffice outsourcing service for Swiss payroll. Engineers will work partly on customer sites, automate payroll processes, and develop AI-powered workflows to tighten compliance and delivery.

You’ll write specs and collaborate with the founders to shape the product from day one. We value diverse backgrounds, fast learning, ownership, and a willingness to help build one of Switzerland’s first AI-native service companies, with equity options and paying

Qualifications

Excited by the idea that AI is changing how software is built.
No fixed model of a perfect forward-deployed engineer; value trajectory over credentials.
Engineers come from diverse backgrounds and think differently; problem-solving matters.
You should take ownership, learn quickly, and care about outcomes over titles.

Responsibilities

Work on the customer-site a couple of days a week.
Take over payroll services and automate it.
Build a product that automates complex compliance workflows.
Write product specs to handover to engineers.
Build custom AI-powered workflows, continuously pushing automation boundaries.
Collaborate directly with the senior founders to tackle business and product challenges.
