Novartis in Basel is seeking a Senior Scientist in Molecular & Cellular Sciences (MCS) for a 6-month temporary position through Magnit Global. The role is onsite and focused on developing state-of-the-art soluble biomarker assays across multiple programs.

You will work hands-on in a laboratory setting, collaborating with global experts to implement biomarker technologies from early development through clinical studies. Applicants must have EU/EEA/Swiss work eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell biology or equivalent field with 5+ year laboratory experience in pharma/biotech.
• Extensive understanding and practical experience in ligand binding assays; LC-MS experience a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, accountability and collaboration in global/matrix environments.
• Experience working in a global organization and matrix-resourcing model is advantageous.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Soft MaxPro, SMART Book, GraphPad Prism, Watson LIMS).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to biomarker development (GCLP, ICH).

Aufgaben

• Hands-on development and validation of soluble biomarker assays (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella) and other technologies including LC-MS.
• Transfer, implementation and monitoring of biomarker assay development at external providers.
• Generate and interpret biomarker data to support mechanistic and biology endpoints across early trials and present results internally.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of data from internal and outsourced biomarker activities.
• Serve as scientific/technical lead for exploratory soluble biomarker assays, including strategy and documentation.
