You will lead a team of scientists, apply LC-MS and immunoassay platforms, and collaborate across functions to translate biomarker findings into actionable decisions for clinical studies. This hybrid role offers leadership opportunities and potential for external engagement.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or MSc with substantial industry biomarker experience.
• Strong expertise in soluble biomarker assay development, validation, and clinical implementation.
• Experience translating biomarker strategies from preclinical to clinical development.
• Proven scientific leadership and ability to drive high-quality execution.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and mentoring abilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead development, validation, and implementation of exploratory soluble biomarker assays (LC-MS and immunoassays).
• Serve as SME in LC-MS and immunoassay technologies (ELISA, MSD, NULISA, Ella).
• Oversee laboratory operations, processes, resources, and project prioritization.
• Provide hands-on leadership to resolve analytical challenges and deliver robust data.
• Lead biomarker assay activities for clinical studies, internal or outsourced.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for teams and governance bodies.
• Identify emerging biomarkers and technologies to strengthen capabilities.
• Collaborate across Novartis functions and with external partners; represent the company publicly.
• Mentor and develop scientists and technicians to foster excellence.
