Job summary

CTC Resourcing Solutions in Switzerland seeks a German-speaking Construction Manager to lead CSA engineering projects on-site in the Valais region for a 12-month contract. You will manage construction sites and coordinate EHS, while supporting procurement and ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

The role requires fluency in German and residency permit, with strong ability to work in matrix-based cross-functional teams and to drive both large-scale investments and smaller CSA

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction site and bear operational responsibility during the construction and installation phase of a construction site.
• Overall responsibility for coordinating all EHS issues on the construction site and requesting all necessary work method statements from the various contractors and checking them together with the EHS specialist.
• Support the procurement process and ensure that aspects relevant to construction site safety are incorporated in the work to be performed.
• Ensure that plan specifications are respected and monitor the construction costs, schedule and quality.
• Organize the building inspections at the end of a construction project and be responsible for the correction of defects.
• Be responsible for the design and execution of smaller investment or maintenance projects as CSA subject matter expert. Prepare tender documents and carry out submission and award contracts together with procurement.
• Hands-on involvement in the creation and development of CSA standard documents.

As Construction Manager and subject matter expert for Civil-Structural and Architectural (CSA) Engineering topics you take over the responsibility for construction management of investment projects of all sizes. In addition you take over design and project managing task for smaller investment and maintenance projects.

Main Responsibilities:
