UNITED MACHINING, a leading provider for precision components, seeks a senior procurement leader to define global category strategy for G&A and CapEx. You will drive strategic sourcing, run tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and lead major capital investment projects in partnership with engineering and finance teams.

You will manage a strategic supplier portfolio, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and implement governance to deliver sustainable savings and total-cost-of-ownership

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Significant experience in strategic procurement or category management in international, multi-site organisations.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-value sourcing and negotiation processes.
• Fluent in English and German; travel internationally; Power BI and AI experience are advantages.

• Act as procurement lead for major capital investment projects, partnering closely with engineering, operations, finance and site management
• Manage the strategic supplier portfolio and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business functions and sites
• Define procurement policies and governance, and deliver sustainable savings, cost avoidance and total-cost-of-ownership improvements while mitigating commercial and compliance risks

Your tasks

• Manage the strategic supplier portfolio and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business functions and sites
• Define procurement policies and governance, and deliver sustainable savings, cost avoidance and total-cost-of-ownership improvements while mitigating commercial and compliance risks

Your profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or a related field; CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification an advantage
• Significant experience in strategic procurement or category management, covering both General & Administrative spend and Capital Expenditure, ideally in an international, matrix-based, multi-site organization
• Proven track record leading complex, high-value sourcing and negotiation processes, with strong negotiation, analytical and project/change-management skills
• Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders without relying solely on hierarchical authority
• Fluent in English and German (oral and written); French or Italian, willingness to travel internationally, and Power BI skills (in particular the creation of your own dashboards) or experience working with artificial intelligence are additional advantages
