United Machining is seeking a senior procurement leader to define and drive the global category strategy for their G&A and CapEx spend. You will lead strategic sourcing, tenders, negotiations, and supplier selections, partnering with engineering, operations, finance, and site management across multiple sites.

The role requires a track record in complex, high-value sourcing, with strong negotiation, analytics, and change-management skills.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
• CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Significant experience in strategic procurement or category management.
• Experience in international, multi-site organizations.

• Define and drive the global category strategy for General & Administrative expenses and Capital Expenditure
• Lead strategic sourcing, tenders, negotiations, and supplier selection across a broad portfolio of indirect spend and investment categories
• Act as procurement lead for major capital investment projects, partnering closely with engineering, operations, finance and site management
• Manage the strategic supplier portfolio and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business functions and sites
• Define procurement policies and governance, and deliver sustainable savings, cost avoidance and total-cost-of-ownership improvements while mitigating commercial and compliance risks

Your profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or a related field; CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification an advantage
• Significant experience in strategic procurement or category management, covering both General & Administrative spend and Capital Expenditure, ideally in an international, matrix-based, multi-site organization
• Proven track record leading complex, high-value sourcing and negotiation processes, with strong negotiation, analytical and project/change-management skills
• Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders without relying solely on hierarchical authority
• Fluent in English and German (oral and written); French or Italian, willingness to travel internationally, and Power BI skills (in particular the creation of your own dashboards) or experience working with artificial intelligence are additional advantages
