UNITED MACHINING is seeking a Commodity Manager for General & Capital Expenses to define the global category strategy and lead strategic sourcing across G&A and capex spend. The role partners with engineering, operations, finance, and site management to drive savings and governance.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in a related field, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and fluency in English and German, with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification an advantage.
• Significant experience in strategic procurement or category management for G&A and capex.

Aufgaben

• Define the global category strategy for G&A and capex.
• Lead sourcing, tenders, negotiations and supplier selection across indirect spend and investment categories.
• Act as procurement lead for major capital projects with engineering, operations, finance and site management.
• Manage the strategic supplier portfolio and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Define procurement policies and governance and deliver savings and TCO improvements while mitigating risks.
