Job summary

Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG seeks a Commercial Contracts Manager to support indirect procurement and contract governance from Stans. You will develop templates, coordinate with Legal and procurement, and draft/negotiate contracts in collaboration with Commercial Managers.

The role requires an established university degree and several years in contract management, with fluency in English and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Business Law, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in contract management or procurement, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (minimum C1).
• Strong analytical and structured approach with the ability to assess complex matters and provide sound recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement teams for indirect goods across multiple units by developing and maintaining standard contract templates.
• Coordinate contract templates and contractual matters with Legal and procurement stakeholders.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with Commercial Managers and support post‑sales contract topics.
• Prepare management summaries of key terms, risks and conditions for contracts under negotiation.
• Create reports, statistics and analyses on contract management activities for management.

Your Tasks

• Support procurement teams, especially for indirect goods procurement, across multiple business units by developing, maintaining and administering standard contract templates


• Coordinate contract templates and contractual matters in close collaboration with the Legal department and procurement stakeholders


• Draft, review and negotiate contracts in cooperation with Commercial Managers and support commercial after-sales contract topics


• Prepare management summaries of key contractual terms, risks and conditions for contracts under negotiation


• Create reports, statistics and analyses on contract management activities and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, systems and governance, including support for organisational changes and deputising for Commercial Contract Managers when required

• University degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business Administration, Business Law, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field


• Several years of professional experience in contract management or procurement, preferably in an international environment and involving complex commercial agreements


• Fluent and English skills, both written and spoken, at minimum C1 level


• Strong analytical and structured approach with the ability to assess complex matters, set priorities, and prepare sound recommendations for decision-making


• High level of initiative, integrity, accountability, and resilience, combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of challenging topics


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in cross-functional projects and a strong interest in contract management, procurement processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
