Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to support indirect procurement across business units, collaborate with the Legal and procurement teams, and draft and negotiate contracts.

You will prepare executive summaries and drive improvements in contract management processes. The role emphasizes strong English and German communication, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage complex commercial agreements in an international setting.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business Administration, Business Law, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in contract management or procurement, preferably in an international environment and involving complex commercial agreements
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, at minimum C1 level
• Strong analytical and structured approach with the ability to assess complex matters, set priorities, and prepare sound recommendations for decision-making
• High level of initiative, integrity, accountability, and resilience, combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of challenging topics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in cross-functional projects and a strong interest in contract management, procurement processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Support procurement teams, especially for indirect goods procurement, across multiple business units by developing, maintaining and administering standard contract templates
• Coordinate contract templates and contractual matters in close collaboration with the Legal department and procurement stakeholders
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts in cooperation with Commercial Managers and support commercial after-sales contract topics
• Prepare management summaries of key contractual terms, risks and conditions for contracts under negotiation
• Create reports, statistics and analyses on contract management activities and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, systems and governance, including support for organisational changes and deputising for Commercial Contract Managers when required
