Zusammenfassung

Merantix AG in Switzerland seeks a hands-on technical leader to design and build the trading operating system for physical commodity flows. You will own the full tech stack from data ingestion to trader-facing products, collaborating with the CEO to define long-term strategy and first market verticals.

You will be embedded with traders, shape the platform to support decision-making, and guide a founding engineering team as the company scales in its venture-backed phase.

Qualifikationen

• Strong mathematical, ML and data engineering foundation.
• Applied AI/ML and data architecture depth: you have built and shipped real AI products into production, in messy, real-world environments.
• Experience turning heterogeneous, unstructured, multi-source data into decision systems: knowledge graphs, agentic systems, LLM orchestration, or signal/time-series pipelines.
• Commercial understanding is non-negotiable: you think in unit economics and P&L, not just model metrics.

Aufgaben

• Ship the first product yourself, taking the platform from zero to live trading support solo.
• Own the full technical stack and architecture: data ingestion, ML/agent layer, and trader-facing product.
• Co-define the company strategy with the co-founder & CEO: 10-year vision, platform strategy, and initial verticals.
• Go into the field: sit with traders, visit counterparties, translating physical trading into system mappings.
• Pitch investors alongside the CEO and shape the technical narrative through Seed stage and beyond.
• Recruit and lead the founding engineering team as activity scales.
