Job summary

IQVIA Basel seeks an experienced Project Lead to drive clinical study delivery, ensuring contractual compliance, quality and efficiency. You will collaborate with clinical teams, vendors and cross-functional groups to manage scope, timelines and budgets for regional studies.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking and extensive knowledge of clinical trial processes, with a focus on patient outcomes and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in project management.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial conduct and regulatory requirements (ICH GCP).
• Excellent communication skills in English; presenting capabilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid defense presentations with Business Development, possibly leading smaller regional studies.
• Deliver and manage smaller, regional studies ensuring contract alignment and quality.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
• Oversee execution of clinical studies per contract while optimizing speed, quality and cost.
• Set objectives for the core team and assess performance with clear communication.
