Job summary

Copenhagen Atomics seeks a commercially minded Chief Investment Officer based in Zug to lead our financing and capital strategy as we scale a deep-tech energy business. You will drive capital raising, investor relations and financial structuring, report to the CEO and Board, and build a high-performing finance function capable of attracting international growth capital and managing complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience raising capital for technology/deep-tech/energy companies.
• Led financing rounds; transactions USD 100 million+ would be relevant.
• Strong corporate finance, financial modelling, capital structures and investment analysis.
• International network among investors, financial institutions, family offices or strategic investors.
• Able to engage with investors, present complex opportunities, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Willing to be based in Zug and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Capital raising — lead equity financing and build a strong international investor pipeline.
• Capital strategy — develop financing structures for a rapidly growing deep-tech and energy company.
• Investor relations — establish and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, strategic investors and financial partners.
• Financial leadership — develop FP&A, reporting, forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
• Corporate structuring — work with management, legal advisers and the Board on financing structures, subsidiaries and major commercial projects.
• Leadership — build and lead a high-performing finance and investment organization.
• Governance — support the CEO and Board with financial analysis and risk management.
• Execution — create disciplined processes enabling rapid progress while maintaining standards.
