Job summary

Reuters in Switzerland, Zug, is seeking a Director, Chief of Staff to report to the Head of CoCounsel Legal Engineering, guiding strategic priorities, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product and business teams.

You will translate technical and operational insights into strategic decisions, lead executive communications, define OKRs, and shape long-term roadmap in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering or technical teams with SDLC and AI/ML product development.
• Proven track record driving strategic programs end-to-end with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Previous Chief of Staff, strategy, operations or equivalent with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and operationalize strategic priorities, annual plan and long-term roadmap.
• Build operating rhythm for leadership: staff meetings, reviews, planning cycles.
• Own resource planning, headcount and budget management with Finance.
• Lead executive materials and communications for board and senior teams.
• Define metrics/OKRs and drive corrective action across orgs.
