Job summary

Convolving GmbH in Oberrieden, near Zürich, seeks a senior Functional Expert to lead redesign engagements across finance, operations, risk, procurement, legal, or HR. The hire walks the boundary between client leadership and AI process engineering, defending controls and driving production-ready artifacts.

You will shadow live sprints, spearhead discovery, and eventually lead multiple engagements while building a reference library for future projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in a single function (finance, operations, risk, procurement, legal, clinical, or HR).
• Proven track record at head-of-function, operating-partner, or senior-director level.
• Comfort interfacing with CFO/COO or equivalent and pushing back on controls.
• Fluent with major AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and able to read artifacts.
• Demonstrated bias for written work products (memos, exception logs, runbooks).
• Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.
• Based in Oberrieden, with one or two days remote per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery interviews with client line operators and function heads and document current processes.
• Score candidate workflows against impact, data readiness, change-management cost, and risk; defend the ranked list.
• Shadow the AI Process Engineer and flag redesigns that break controls or regulator-facing reports.
• Explain trade-offs of the model to client leadership and defend the redesign posture.
• Train client function leadership on changed weekly workflows and escalation paths.
• Contribute findings to the firm’s reference library to help future engagements.
