Job summary

Leysin American School SA seeks a Director of Technology to lead LAS's technology strategy and operations across cloud, network, data systems, and educational platforms. Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in technology, CS, info systems, or related field.
• Proven leadership in educational/international school environments.
• Experience leading IT ops and educational technology integration.
• Strong technical skills across cloud, networking, cybersecurity, data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technology leadership to support teaching, learning, and operations.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year technology strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee network, cloud, security, and data systems; ensure security and DR.
• Lead integration of PowerSchool, Google Workspace, and ManageBac with APIs and automations.
• Manage budgets, contracts, licensing, procurement, and vendor relations.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop IT staff and technology interns.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to align tech with curriculum and assessment.
• Advance AI, automation, analytics, and responsible tech use in education.
