Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Application Engineer for charging infrastructure solutions within its eMobility RCoC in Europe. You will engage customers, develop high-level technical concepts, and support tendering and project execution with internal teams across power systems, energy management and installation concepts.

Applicants should have 5 years in electrical applications, strong AC/DC knowledge, and the ability to translate requirements into compliant offers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in application, power systems engineering, including DC power supply systems, power electronics, MV/LV distribution, or similar.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC distribution, power conversion, transformers, switchgear, protection and control.
• Experience developing technical concepts and converting requirements into system architectures and compliant offers.
• Proactive, results-oriented with strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, events and project support; fluent in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Engage with customers early in project development to understand needs and grid constraints.
• Develop high-level technical solution concepts for charging infrastructure and interfaces.
• Translate requirements into optimized Hitachi Energy solutions and assess risks and opportunities.
• Support Sales Capture and tender teams with technical inputs and option evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal specialists on power-system studies, grid connection, energy management and installation concepts.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, design criteria and customer-facing materials.
• Assist project teams post-award to refine the solution and manage interfaces.
