Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Application Engineer for charging infrastructure solutions within our eMobility Regional Center of Competence. You will collaborate with customers, Sales, Tendering, Product Management, and engineering teams to develop optimized, fit-for-purpose charging solutions for public and commercial transport.

You will translate requirements into system architectures, support tendering, and work across grid connection, power electronics, energy management and installation

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power systems.
• 5 years of experience in application, power systems engineering including DC power supply systems and power electronics.
• Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Engage with customers early to understand operational needs and charging strategies.
• Develop high-level technical concepts for charging infrastructure and system architectures.
• Translate requirements into optimized, feasible solutions using Hitachi Energy portfolio.
• Support tender teams during pre-design by coordinating technical inputs and evaluating options.
• Coordinate with internal specialists on power-system studies, grid connection, and installation concepts.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and customer-facing material.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and improved offerings for eMobility solutions.
