Job summary

Brändi in Lucerne is recruiting a Baker-Confectioner-Pastry Chef / Professional Team Leader to lead the production team and oversee daily planning, while promoting the integration of people with mental disabilities in the bakery, patisserie and gelato production.

You will ensure HACCP and quality standards, contribute to product development, manage offers for customer enquiries, and support relationships with business customers in collaboration with sales.

Qualifications

• Must hold EFZ apprenticeship as Baker-Confectioner-Pastry Chef and additional food science training.
• Leadership experience; experience in disability-support is a plus.
• Proficient with ERP systems for product master data.

• Professional leadership of the production team and responsibility for daily planning.
• Promotion and integration of people with mental disabilities in daily production of baked goods, patisserie and gelato.
• Ensuring compliance with quality and food standards (HACCP).
• Active participation in production and implementing Lean improvements with the team.
• Care and maintenance of relationships with business customers in cooperation with sales and ensuring smooth order processing.
• Calculation and preparation of offers for customer enquiries and involvement in product development.

Your tasks

• Professional leadership of the production team and responsibility for daily planning

• Active participation in production as well as recognising and implementing process optimisations according to Lean Management together with the team
• Care and maintenance of relationships with business customers in cooperation with sales as well as ensuring smooth order processing
• Calculation and preparation of offers for customer enquiries as well as participation in the development and further development of products

Special feature of this position: Regular and predictable working hours from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 17:00!

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a Baker-Confectioner-Pastry Chef EFZ as well as extensive expertise or additional training in Food Science / Food Technology
• Leadership experience; experience in work pedagogy or support of people with mental disabilities is an advantage
• Practical knowledge in product development as well as knowledge of textures and raw materials
• Proficient use of ERP systems for product master data maintenance and disposition (Abacus or similar)
• Experience in professional B2B customer contact and very good German language skills
• High social competence, patience, resilience as well as a structured and quality-conscious way of working
