ITech Consult AG is seeking a Biospecimen Specialist to lead the Employee Specimen Donation Program in Rotkreuz. The role covers end-to-end specimen sourcing, biorepository management, and data handling within validated systems, with a focus on regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a life sciences background, experience with biospecimen handling and LIMS, and English proficiency at level B2 or higher.

Qualifikationen

• Life science Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1-3 years relevant experience in sample acquisition, data management, biobanking.
• OR Life science Master's degree or equivalent, some experience in sample management, biobanking or related area.
• Experience in handling biological specimens; willingness to work with potentially infectious biological material
• Knowledge of Ethics and Compliance: informed consent, IRB protocols, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• IT skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Experience with LIMS or other validated systems
• English (min. B2)
• Hepatitis vaccination available
• Able to lift 10 kg - 15 kg

Aufgaben

• Autonomously lead and execute the Employee Specimen Donation Program to ensure reliable and compliant sample sourcing.
• Design and provide an advertisement campaign to promote the donation program to internal employees.
• Manage biological material processing, registration, shipment, verification activities, retrievals, and inventory searches in a validated environment.
• Create sample collection kits and oversee end-to-end biorepository management to fulfill specimen requests.
• Collaborate with permitting agencies, import/export compliance, and local Safety and Biorepository Teams to ensure permit compliance.
• Conduct data management tasks within a validated LIMS, including data review and exports.
• Maintain precise data entry into validated databases and ensure proper study information handling.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders to meet timelines and comply with BAM procedures.
