Nestlé Research in Vaud invites a Bioinformatics Intern to contribute to an advanced yeast genome annotation pipeline by integrating gene expression data to improve prediction accuracy. Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in bioinformatics, genomics or related field.
• Good knowledge of genomics and bioinformatics exposure.
• Familiarity with NGS data analysis and Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Review literature and evaluate software for integrating gene expression into yeast annotation.
• Develop and improve scripts/workflows to automate genomic data processing.
• Document code, workflows and results to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with microbiologists and genomics scientists to translate biology into technical solutions.
