Zusammenfassung

The World Economic Forum in Geneva seeks a Bioeconomy Initiative Specialist for a fixed-term engagement from November 2026 to May 2029. You will coordinate communities, support flagship publications, develop stakeholder insights and translate Forum convenings into practical action.

You will collaborate across Forum teams and geographies, manage stakeholder engagement, develop content, and help deliver policy tools and regional workshops across multiple geographies.

Qualifikationen

Academic background in life sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, bioeconomy, public policy, economics or related discipline.
2–4 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, bioeconomy, biomanufacturing, policy or international orgs.
Familiarity with commercialization pathways for biotechnology and bio-based innovation.
Understanding of policy development, regulation, standards, or innovation ecosystems.
Experience working across business, government, academia and civil society in multistakeholder environments.

Aufgaben

Coordinate and expand the Forum's Bioeconomy Community and Working Group activities.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across sectors and geographies.
Facilitate stakeholder consultations to test narratives that build trust in biotechnologies.
