Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the U.S. market in retail, wholesale and OEM/private-label channels.

You will identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and convert opportunities into revenue across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong BD background in beverages/CPG, proven success in acquiring new customers, negotiating terms, and leading launches with sales, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in business development or sales in beverage/CPG.
• Proven track record in acquiring accounts and partnerships.
• Strong understanding of retail/wholesale channels and pricing.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
• Analytical, strategic, and financially astute.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business across retail, wholesale and OEM/private-label channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and partners.
• Lead BD process from prospecting to proposals, negotiations and account acquisition.
• Develop strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
• Explore new co-manufacturing and private-label opportunities; support discussions with partners.
• Prepare proposals, pricing, forecasts and presentations; track pipeline.
