Zusammenfassung

Albedis is seeking a Management Company Risk Specialist (Asset Management) in Basel to strengthen governance, risk oversight and control frameworks within a regulated asset management environment. You will enhance the ICS, oversee RCSA, monitor KRIs and develop automated controls and reporting solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, experience in asset management, and hands-on Python for data analysis and process automation, plus fluency in English and German as an asset.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Several years of professional experience within asset management or fund environment.
• Experience in risk management, internal controls, operational risk, oversight or audit.
• CFA/FRM or similar certifications are advantageous.
• Swiss/EU/EFTA work permit or citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and enhance the Internal Control System (ICS) within a regulated asset management environment.
• Monitor effectiveness of key controls across funds, management company and operations.
• Support Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and remediation follow-ups.
• Monitor KRIs and oversee operational risk reporting.
• Prepare risk and management reports for senior management and governance bodies.
• Develop automated controls, monitoring tools and reporting processes.
• Apply data analysis and automation to risk monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations and Fund Management teams.
