Zusammenfassung

Albedis seeks a Management Company Risk Specialist in Basel to strengthen oversight of assets and fund operations. The role centers on internal controls, risk assessment and data-driven reporting within a regulated asset management environment.

You will design automated controls, monitor KRIs, support RCSA and collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Fund Management to enhance governance and operational risk management.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Several years of professional experience within asset management, fund management, fund administration or comparable environment.
• Experience in risk management, internal controls, operational risk, oversight functions or audit in asset management/fund industry is valuable.
• CFA, FRM or similar risk-focused qualifications are a strong advantage.
• Exposure to Swiss and/or Luxembourg fund structures and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Understanding of governance, oversight and control frameworks in regulated finance.
• Strong interest in data analysis, reporting and process automation.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting automation, control monitoring or risk-related use cases.
• Experience with large datasets and developing automated reporting/monitoring solutions.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Structured, hands-on, solution-oriented working style.
• Ownership mindset and willingness to learn.
• Excellent English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintaining and enhancing the Internal Control System (ICS) within a regulated asset management environment
• Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of key controls across fund, management company and operational processes
• Supporting and coordinating Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), including remediation follow-up
• Monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and oversight of operational and business risks
• Preparing regular risk and management reporting for senior management and governance bodies
• Development of automated controls, monitoring tools and reporting to improve oversight
• Applying data analysis and automation techniques to support monitoring and reporting
• Collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Fund Management and other functions
