Albedis is seeking a Lead Banking Audit Manager in Basel to own risk-based audit engagements across diverse banking activities. The role involves planning, execution, and reporting while evaluating governance, risk, and internal controls within a highly regulated international banking environment.

The candidate should have at least five years of lead auditing experience, professional certifications, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor within internal audit, external audit, or banking assurance functions.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CFA, CPA, ACCA, Swiss Certified Banking Expert, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading audit engagements across at least two banking domains: Operations, Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Credit, Payments, Banking Products, Treasury and Trading.
• Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills; German, French and/or Spanish are advantageous.
• Valid CH work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required; willingness to work 100% on-site.

Aufgaben

• Lead risk-based audit engagements from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Assess internal controls, governance structures, and risk management processes.
• Draft clear audit reports for senior management and governance committees.
• Challenge processes and provide practical recommendations to improve efficiency and control.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in selected banking domains and support audit methodologies.
• Monitor remediation actions and present audit summaries to executives.
