Qualifications

• Some professional experience building software.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
• Willingness and availability for 24/7 on-call duty as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a very large, business-critical platform used by merchants worldwide.
• Work in an agile DevOps team covering the full lifecycle from analysis to support.
• Develop robust backend solutions using Java and Spring (Boot).
• Work with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL databases as a core part of the landscape.
• Operate in a containerized world (Podman) with bare-metal systems.
• Ship with CI/CD and infrastructure automation (GitLab CI, Ansible).
• Take part in on-call/stand-by rotation to keep systems healthy.
