Job summary

ANAVIA is seeking an Avionics Technician to join our Swiss team responsible for sub-assembly and final assembly of avionics and electrical systems on unmanned helicopter platforms. You will install and inspect wiring, collaborate with engineers, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

The role requires a technical education and 3–5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with strong troubleshooting skills and English proficiency; German is desirable.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar technical role, preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency in English; German desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble avionics and electrical systems in unmanned helicopter platforms.
• Install, integrate, and inspect wiring and harnesses per drawings and standards.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues with engineers and improve processes.

Key Tasks

• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly of avionics and electrical systems for unmanned helicopter platforms.
• Install, integrate, and inspect electrical wiring, harnesses, and avionics equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and fellow technicians to troubleshoot assembly issues and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Perform functional testing, system integration, and inspections to verify proper operation and compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all assembly activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate assembly records and report any non-conformities or technical issues.

Your Profile

• Completed technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar technical role, preferably in the aerospace, aviation, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Solid technical and practical understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechatronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a structured and quality-focused approach to work. High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English. German desirable.
