Job summary

Sunflower Labs GmbH in Zurich is seeking a test engineer to develop test procedures, run campaigns, and build HITL/SITL harnesses for our autonomous drone-in-a-box system. You will write software to automate tests and spend time in the field operating the system to validate performance.

You will own and scale our test infrastructure, implement CI testing, design flight test campaigns, perform stress tests, generate comprehensive reports, and propose reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with automated testing and simulation tools.
• Programming experience in Python and C++.
• Experience building test infrastructure and engineering tools from early stage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and scale test infrastructure, extending capabilities and building new automated test systems.
• Drive the implementation and maintenance of SITL and HITL CI tests.
• Design and execute flight test campaigns to verify system performance.
• Stress-test the system to identify weaknesses.
• Create comprehensive test reports.
• Recommend enhancements to improve reliability and usability.
