Bachem AG in Bubendorf, Basel-Landschaft, seeks an Automation Engineer/Project Engineer for the Digital Manufacturing & Data Lab. You will build and operate the lab environment for digital manufacturing solutions, focusing on PCS7-based automation, simulation, and IT/OT integration to enable experimentation and scaling of automation across TechOps.

The role requires hands-on experience with PCS7, WinCC and SIMIT, plus lab IT/OT infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with PCS7, WinCC, and Simatic Batch; familiarity with SIMIT or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of automation hardware, PLCs, field instrumentation, and industrial networks.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain the Digital Manufacturing & Data Lab infrastructure.
• Develop, configure, and support Siemens PCS7 systems (WinCC, Simatic Batch) for lab and pilot environments.
• Build and maintain simulation capabilities and digital twins using SIMIT for virtual commissioning and training.
