Job summary

UBS Group AG in Zürich is seeking a Wealth Management Associate to join the Iberia International team. The program extends your skills in wealth management, helps you build a book of Spanish clients, and offers on-the-job training with off-the-job education.

You will develop into a Relationship Manager through the program, aim to exceed financial and educational targets, and grow your network via referrals while completing the WM Certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master from a leading university / business school with a minimum of 4 years professional experience.
• Good understanding and strong interest in financial markets.
• In-depth market knowledge in Spain with a convincing network of HNW/UHNW.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop to become a successful Relationship Manager through our training program.
• Build up a client book from your own network of wealthy individuals in Spain.
• Establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
• Continuously grow your network by referrals and by identifying new prospects.
• Acquire the necessary knowledge and sales skills to deliver the UBS value proposition, including trainings and the WM Certificate.

Parallel off-the-job education will provide you with the business specific knowledge, but the main focus is on-the-job, developing your book of clients. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be equipped with the necessary foundation to embark upon a rewarding career with UBS Wealth Management in one of our global locations.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• develop to become a successful Relationship Manager through our training program; reaching (or preferably exceeding) both the financial and educational targets set within the program
• build up a client book from your own existing network of wealthy individuals in Spain
• establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships with clients
• continuously grow your network by referrals and by identifying new prospects
• acquire the necessary knowledge and sales skills to deliver the UBS value proposition to clients, including timely completion of mandatory trainings and the WM Certificate

Your Skills And Experience

• a Bachelor or Master from a leading university / business school with a minimum of 4 years professional experience
• good understanding and strong interest in financial markets
• in depth market knowledge in Spain with a convincing network of HNW/UHNW
• excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills

You are:

• a networker and a skilled relationship builder at heart
• part of a club, alumni-network, or involved with entrepreneurial activities
• a collaborative team player who is also independent enough to plan your own activities and put your business plan into action
• experience in Wealth Management services is welcome, though not required.
• languages skills: fluent in Spanish and English, German is a plus
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
