Role Summary:

The Associate Director (Sales) will drive the growth of assets under management by distributing CoinShares’ ETPs, investment products and strategies to institutional and intermediary investors in Switzerland. Working remotely from the Zurich region, you will bring an established network of professional clients, convert it into assets, and build new relationships with prospective investors. You will work closely with the research team, product development and marketing to shape sales and client-management strategy that increases asset growth and brand awareness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Drive AUM growth: own and deliver a Switzerland sales pipeline and AUM targets for CoinShares ETPs, funds and other products the Company distributes.

Leverage your network: activate existing relationships with Swiss institutional and intermediary clients (e.g. asset managers, banks, wealth managers, family offices, pension funds and insurers) and convert them into CoinShares investors.

Originate new business: identify, approach and onboard new prospects, using market and client insight to prioritise opportunities.

Manage and grow client relationships: provide a high standard of service to existing investors through regular contact, portfolio and product discussions, and proactive follow-up.

Act as a digital-asset subject matter expert: explain the structure, risks and investment case of crypto ETPs and related strategies, and stay current on market developments.

Collaborate across the business: work with the research team, product, marketing, trading and compliance on product feedback, client needs and go-to-market plans.

Support content, research and marketing: contribute to CoinShares content, research, analysis and presentations as well as marketing materials, and represent the firm at events, roadshows and conferences in Switzerland and the wider region.

Respond to inbound enquiries: handle investor enquiries about CoinShares products promptly and accurately.

Maintain CRM discipline: record all client engagement in the Company CRM and provide accurate pipeline forecasts and sales reporting.

Stay compliant: keep up to date with Swiss and other relevant financial regulation affecting product distribution, and follow the Company’s distribution policies and procedures.

Share knowledge: contribute to the training and development of colleagues where appropriate.

Undertaking any other such duties as may be reasonably required by the role.

Strong working knowledge of, or genuine and demonstrable interest in, crypto and digital assets, including the market structure, products and key risks.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and AUM targets.

Knowledge of Swiss regulation relevant to fund and ETP distribution (e.g. FinSA/FIDLEG and FINMA requirements), and any authorisation or registration needed to distribute to Swiss clients.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Right to work in Switzerland and residence in the Zurich region.

Fluent English and German; French or Italian is a plus.

Personal Attributes:

Self-starter who works effectively and independently in a remote setting, with little need for day-to-day supervision or external motivation.

Highly organised, disciplined and results-driven, with strong ownership of pipeline and follow-through.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage credibly with senior investors and explain complex products clearly.

Comfortable travelling within Switzerland and to the occasional team meeting or event; willingness to travel as the role requires.
