This hands-on kitchen apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with school sessions in Switzerland's renowned hospitality group. You will work in the Kitchen department, learn high-quality food preparation, hygiene and station duties, and participate in a luxury hotel environment in the Engadin Alps.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 17 years old at start of apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the quality of the food is consistently high and appropriate for the establishment in accordance with the trained specifications of the respective department
• Preparation of food in accordance with the instructions of the station and kitchen chef or sous chef
• Responsibility for absolute cleanliness at the workplace
• Provision of food at the specified times
• Supporting other stations - depending on the situation of your own workload
• Checking, storing and processing existing and delivered goods
• Results-oriented cooperation with the service departments, stewarding
• Ensuring occupational safety

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Together with our motivated team, you will ensure that our hotel guests receive the best possible service during the summer and winter seasons. In the off-season, you will attend the school hotel for the theoretical part of your training and, if available, set off for new horizons and support our sister hotels. It will be easy for you to greet our guests with a smile in one of Switzerland's most prestigious hotels and ensure that they feel completely at ease from the very first moment.
