Job summary

Kempinski Hotels SA in St. Moritz invites applications for an Apprentice "Koch EFZ" (f/m/d) starting August 2027.

This hands-on kitchen apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with school sessions in Switzerland's renowned hospitality group. You will work in the Kitchen department, learn high-quality food preparation, hygiene and station duties, and participate in a luxury hotel environment in the Engadin Alps.

Qualifications

• Be at least 17 years old at start of apprenticeship.
• English and German language skills required.
• Completed department-related internships in the hotel or catering industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high-quality food and adherence to department specifications.
• Prepare food according to station and kitchen chef instructions.
• Maintain absolute cleanliness at the workplace.
• Provide food at specified times.
• Support other stations as workload requires.
• Check, store and process existing and delivered goods.
• Cooperate with service departments and stewarding.
• Ensure occupational safety.
