JAS Worldwide is seeking an Air Operations Specialist to coordinate import and export end-to-end, owning shipments from booking to invoicing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high service levels. The role requires proactive communication with customers, carriers, authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement and profitability, with strong German and English communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in freight forwarding industry is required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience working with CargoWise or similar forwarding software preferred.

• Take ownership of assigned shipments from booking through final invoicing while ensuring service excellence and operational profitability.
• Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and address any issues or delays in the shipping process, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure shipment profitability through cost control, accurate vendor cost verification, and timely customer billing.
• Manage customer invoicing and verify and process carrier and vendor invoices.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with international regulations, customs laws, and company policies.

The Air Operations Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and management of import and export. The role takes ownership of assigned customer shipments from booking through final invoicing, ensuring operational accuracy, timely execution, compliance with company procedures and international regulations, and a high level of customer service. The position requires proactive communication and collaboration with customers, carriers, agents, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth movement of cargo.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of assigned shipments from booking through final invoicing while ensuring service excellence and operational profitability
