Lever, Inc. seeks a Product Engineer (AI-Native) based in Switzerland to own features end-to-end, from problem identification to production-ready delivery, leveraging AI agents as primary development partners.

You will work in a remote, international team, defining integration requirements, reviewing AI outputs, and shaping AI-first development processes while ensuring reliability and quality in production systems.

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems end-to-end.
• Background as backend engineer, software architect, or similar IC role.
• Extensive hands-on AI coding agents experience (Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• Strong interest in agentic software development and continuous learning.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and measurable results.
• Strong debugging and code quality skills for AI-generated solutions.

Aufgaben

• Own product features end-to-end from problem to production-ready delivery.
• Identify what needs to be built and drive initiatives with limited guidance.
• Engage with external partners and service providers for integration requirements.
• Collaborate with AI agents to create product and technical specifications; maintain ownership.
• Delegate tasks to AI agents and critically review their outputs in a large codebase.
• Evaluate AI-generated implementations, identify issues, and select best solutions.
• Test and validate delivered features with emphasis on reliability for financial transactions.
