Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a qualified engineer to plan and implement qualification programs for metallic materials and assembly processes in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will plan and execute qualification test programs for new materials, compile technical docs, and lead related projects with cross-functional teams.

The role requires an MSc in Materials Science or a related field, strong expertise in metallic materials, and B2 level German and English.

Qualifications

MSc degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong expertise in metallic materials and assembly processes.
B2 level German and English language skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute qualification test programs for new metallic materials and assembly processes.
Compile and revise technical documentation such as process specifications and engineering standards.
Lead materials and process projects in the field of metals and assembly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate materials and processes into product design.
Support engineering, production, quality and customer support on metallic materials topics.
Ensure compliance of materials and processes with aviation and environmental regulations.
