Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a seasoned aerospace mechanical systems engineer to own and certify mechanical components across aircraft platforms. You will design, develop, qualify and support certification activities under FAR/EASA-CS Part 23, working onsite in Switzerland.

You will coordinate with global suppliers, lead complex engineering efforts, support ground and flight tests, and help bring new developments into production while addressing in-service issues with production and customer support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace mechanical systems experience in development, integration and certification.
• Experience with RTCA DO-160 and DO-254.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with global suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple mechanical systems across aircraft platforms throughout their lifecycle.
• Design, develop, qualify and certify mechanical components per FAR/EASA-CS Part 23.
• Prepare technical reports and support in-service aircraft operations.
• Act as technical focal point for external suppliers and system vendors.
• Support ground tests, flight test campaigns and introduction of new developments into production.
• Analyze in-service issues and define corrective actions with production and customer support teams.
