Job summary

The Aerodynamicist role at the FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L'AUTOMOBILE is based in Vernier (Genève) with 100% workload and immediate start. You will drive aerodynamic concepts for current and future F1‑level single‑seater programs, using CFD and CAD tools, and contribute to regulations and race integration within a lean engineering team.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years in high‑level aerodynamic development, strong CFD/Wind Tunnel experience,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on aerodynamic development in F1, WEC, or top-level single-seater racing.
• Strong CFD and Wind Tunnel knowledge with practical testing experience.
• CAD design experience using Siemens NX or CATIA.
• Experience with cloud HPC environments and Python is desirable.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop whole-car and multi-car aerodynamic concepts.
• Contribute to future architecture of FIA single-seaters.
• Lead aerodynamic campaigns, analyse data, and report results.
• Attend events and coordinate with teams as required.
