Job summary

Audi Revolut F1 Team in Hinwil, Switzerland, seeks a Senior FEM Structural Analysis Engineer to lead advanced analyses for F1 components. You will work within the Structural Design and Analysis department to deliver sign-off for critical subsystems and drive optimization across the vehicle structure.

The role requires 5+ years in high-performance engineering, mastery of Abaqus, HyperMesh, and related tools, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in structural analysis in motorsport/automotive/aerospace.
• Proven FEM sign-off experience for complex composites and metals.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, fatigue, buckling and vibration.
• Experience under aggressive development schedules with multiple projects.
• Bolted and bonded joint analysis with physical testing correlation.
• Fluent English, strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced linear and non-linear FEA on composites and metals.
• Define and validate structural load cases from first-principles, data and track feedback.
• Support design and optimisation of F1 systems: suspension, aero, chassis, gearbox.
• Deliver structural sign-off docs meeting FIA regulations and deadlines.
• Collaborate with design engineers for lightweight, robust solutions.
• Develop analysis methods, automation tools, and best practices.
