Job summary
A personal care provider agency in Toronto is seeking a caregiver to administer bedside and personal care, assist with hygiene, and provide companionship. The ideal candidate has a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours of work per week, and fluency in English is necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in personal care.
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care.
- Administer medications.
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene.
- Assist in regular exercise.
- Feed or assist in feeding.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Mend clothing and linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
Education
