Position Summary:
The Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a one-year Research Associate position (with the possibility of renewal for a second year). The Research Associate will be working under the direct supervision of Professor Arsalan Kahnemuyipour to assist him in managing his SSHRC-Funded project on the Syntax of Nominal Linkers and his research on Case and Agreement in Iranian Languages. The Research Associate will be involved in the intellectual development of the projects as well as more general administrative support. The Research Associate’s primary responsibilities include setting up protocols for data elicitations, developing research questions, conducting literature reviews, assisting with preparing conference abstracts/presentations and manuscripts for publication, as well as managing the day-to-day needs of the research projects such as organizing lab meetings, coordinating the work of other team members, etc.
