This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group).

Title: Level Design for Games and Immersive Media

Compensation:

• Effective September 1, 2024 - $7,471.08 per half course (195 hours)
• Effective September 1, 2024 - $14,942.17 per full course (390 hours)

Note: Instructors with a 2-hour/week lecture are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab.

Responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students, lecture preparation, student consultation, grading, and course administration, as per Article 22.01 of the Collective Agreement.

1. University degree required.
2. Industry experience in video game level design and/or game world creation.
3. Evidence of teaching effectiveness in online courses.
4. Familiarity with online learning management systems.

Positions depend on course enrollments and budget approval.
