Our client, a confidential industry leader in manufacturing, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Orillia, Ontario. Location: Orillia, ON
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000–$95,000 annually + comprehensive benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday (40 hours/week, occasional flexibility required)
- Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all departments.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and KPIs to optimize workflows and maintain quality standards.
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and procurement to align with company objectives.
- Provide strong leadership—recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, mitigating risks proactively.
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and execution of business goals.
- Manage supply chain activities from raw material sourcing to final delivery.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of finance, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Global Shop or similar is an asset).
- Knowledge of OHSA and ability to lead compliance initiatives.
- Experience with KPI development, change control, and continuous improvement programs.
