The Work. Agency are currently supporting one of our operating mining clients with their search for an intermediate Metallurgical Technician. The role will form an integral part of their metallurgical team as they continue to grow their operations. The team is looking for a mid-level tech who will be learning and developing under the guidance of the senior team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the metallurgical processes of our operation. Collaborating with our team, you'll conduct tests, gather data, and assist in analyzing metallurgical samples. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our metal production processes.
Based in Ontario, our client is a multi-project developer and operator who is growth-focused and eager to continue building out their team. They are looking for team members who share their passion for mining and creating industry-leading standards. To excel in this role, you should have a relevant technical diploma or degree in metallurgy or a related field. Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a metal operation setting, will be advantageous. You'll need a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work meticulously. Familiarity with metallurgical testing equipment and laboratory procedures is essential. Your collaborative approach, adaptability, and commitment to safety will be critical as you work closely with our team to achieve operational goals.
