Job summary
A healthcare authority in Manitoba is seeking a General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist. The successful candidate will perform tasks in a clinical setting and must possess a graduate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. Key qualifications include effective communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work under pressure. Current registration with the CMLTM is required. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including shifts and potential travel to other locations.
Qualifications
- Previous related experience preferred.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
- Current membership with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Work in a clinical laboratory, performing duties as described.
- Participate in standby and callback duties.
- Rotate through various workstations as required.
