Customer Service Specialist – Manufacturing - Pickering, ON

A global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join their growing team in Pickering. Core Responsibilities:

As Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints, including but not limited to:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Process orders, including receiving, pricing, and confirming within 24 hours.
• Handle order modifications, forms, applications, and requests.
• Address customer complaints and effectively de-escalate situations.
• Escalate complex complaints through appropriate channels when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Assist customers with questions about products and order status.
• Provide clear information to help customers understand the company’s products and services.
• Collaborate with Canadian and US sales teams on upcoming orders and pricing.
• Analyze customer order patterns to identify efficiencies and opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, general education
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Math Skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of urgency.
• Experience within the manufacturing sector will be ideal
• Willingness and ability to commute to Pickering, 5 days a week.
