Vianode’s breakthrough solution enables tailored high-performance synthetic anode graphite and holistic sustainability offering a 90% reduction in CO2 footprint. Vianode operates the world's most sustainable full‑scale anode graphite plant for batteries at Herøya Norway.

The next step involves executing a multi‑billion dollar phased investment program dedicated to establishing large‑scale plants across North America and Europe.

Vianode’s long‑term ambition is to supply advanced battery materials to 3 million EVs per year by 2030. Vianode is owned by the world‑leading financial company Altor.

We will be in need of a highly skilled Procurement Manager to be responsible for Vianode Canada indirect procurement, ensuring adherence to procurement processes and achieving cost efficiencies. The Procurement Manager will report to the headquarter and collaborate closely with the global procurement team and the local Canadian team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the negotiation and establishment of contracts, including frame agreements, with indirect suppliers and service providers across multiple categories.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes—from sourcing to payment—ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders across departments and geographies, balancing strategic priorities with day‑to‑day operational needs.
• Drive procurement standardization and optimization across Vianode’s global operations, with a base in Canada and a scope that spans international sites.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support major initiatives and projects, with opportunities to contribute based on experience and expertise.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on procurement best practices, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management.

Core qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of procurement experience in an industrial setting—ideally within process industries, manufacturing, or IT services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities, with a strong track record of delivering both strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
• Proven expertise in negotiating commercial and legal terms, drafting frame agreements and contracts, and navigating Canadian regulatory standards.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and commitment to supporting Vianode’s growth.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑driven and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• International experience and cultural fluency are considered strong assets.

• Onsite with visits to engineering offices, contractor offices and sites for walkthrough and other team meetings
