Time frame: School Calendar Year (September to June) with an option to renew.
The School Nurse supports medically fragile children and their families in the community. You will provide complex pediatric nursing care within a school setting and sometimes in the child's home before and after school. The successful candidate will work throughout the school calendar year, excluding school holidays and PD days.
Candidates with pediatric experience are preferred.
This role requires attention to detail in a dynamic environment, involving physical activities such as lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements emphasizing good body mechanics. The role involves walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.
