TD Commercial Banking services the unique needs of Canadian businesses, customizing a broad range of products. As part of the Commercial Banking team, the Relationship Manager works with an Analyst in supporting a portfolio of customers with borrowings in the $1 million to $15 million range. The Relationship Manager focuses on growing the portfolio by developing new business from both existing and new customers.
The Relationship Manager develops and executes a relationship strategy for each client, identifying key issues and implementing strategies to facilitate the expansion of partnerships. You'll broaden your influence by developing relationships with industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.
Your major accountability includes acquiring new relationships through referrals and a targeted calling program, while balancing sales, cross-selling, servicing, and referrals to Business Partners.
Successful Relationship Managers have the proven ability to generate new business and grow an existing portfolio of Commercial Large Business clients. An RM must be comfortable executing an independent marketing plan and developing self-generated leads. Experience analyzing and structuring commercial credit is essential.
You should have an undergraduate/graduate degree in business or a relevant professional designation, ideally with 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Account Manager in a business or banking environment.
