Position summary

At OmniaBio, we rely on meticulously prepared financial data to drive our business forward. The Revenue Accountant keeps that system running smoothly by supporting the management of our cash flows through accurate tracking, invoicing, and revenue recognition of customer agreements. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our team to process, track, and record receivables and revenues in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Revenue Accountant will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. The successful candidate will be a well-organized individual who can set and manage various stakeholders’ expectations and is able to drive continuous improvements and best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

The employee’s services include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Process customer invoices in the ERP system (SAP S4/Hana) while ensuring accuracy of general ledger (GL) coding.
2. Ensure proper approvals are captured in accordance with the company’s delegation of authority policies.
3. Respond to customer inquiries as required.
4. Work with Sales, Marketing, and Project Management teams and other authorized personnel to ensure timely resolution of issues.
5. Manage contract administration in SAP.
6. Follow up with customers on past due balances and secure collections.
7. Assist with customer maintenance and project set-up in the accounting system.
8. Perform revenue recognition analysis and record monthly revenues in the general ledger.
9. Assist with the preparation of month-end accruals.
10. Reconcile balance sheet accounts regularly.
11. File/archive documents and assist with ad-hoc administrative duties.
12. Strictly adhere to all compliance requirements, specifically with respect to taxation matters.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or accounting discipline.
2. CPA or other professional designation is preferred.
3. 4+ years of working in an office setting supporting a business function.
4. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus.
